I learned , that this feature exists in the aplha of KDE 3.3 , it will be also usefull to be able to configure how many text lines and how many characters per line will be displayed for the Desktop Icons .

Thanks for your help , i did n't have noticed this option , now it is much better , is there any way to configure how many characters will be diplayed before the "..." , perhaps in a config file ?

How i can configure Konqueror not to show huge file names in File Browsing , but instead to truncate them at a fixed maximum length ? When i am browsing folders with files with very big file names , the contents of the folder are shown in a very uncomfortable and ugly way :cry:

I also will use it , i found a little tricky the interface especialy how create folders and subfolders for your cd's , but i will get used to it :wink: .

Hi , i am new to forum :wink: , I am looking for a cd-organizer application, after a search at apps.kde.com i found katalog , but it is not active for a long time , at freshemat , i found gwhere and some other php-based applications that are active but in early stage of development . The only stable application i found is GTKatalog . If someone use an app like that , any suggestions would be very helpful :roll:
