RE: error compiling KDE 3.5

Thank you very much for the Makefile. I have exactly the same error when trying to build KDE3.5.6 under Mandriva 2007. The new Makefile appears to be working fine and I'll try building Kopete by itself later. Take care, Ron

Re: KDE3.5.6 install apidocs problem

I found out that this problem was caused because I didn't have Doxygen installed. Building and installing Doxygen then restarting the konstruct process took care of the issue.

Weird KDE3.3 menu characters

I'm also experiencing this problem. It is bad enough that I've reverted to KDE3.2.3 as I find KDE3.3 unusable becuase of this. I thought that perhaps it had something to do with my $LANG environment setting. After experimenting with several different values for that there was no change in the situation. I consider this to be a stopper for KDE3.3 and can't consider using it until this issue is resolved. If anybody has any ideas I'm willing to give them a shot. I'm retired and play with Linux all ...
