Hi myke, I've had the same problems and used some tricks to get by: 1) The simplest way is to just start xsane as root (with sudo) so you don't have to login as root. 2) As chmodding your scanner device (/dev/bus/usb/004/015 in your case) is not permanent, you should write a script for it and place it in ~/.kde/Autostart (just make the permissions least restrictive). Hope this helps! Cheers, Job
Hi babag, In the menu-editor: changing the command for kaffeine from kaffeine %U to kaffeine -f %U should make it start in fullscreen mode. Not sure though if it is possible to make it loop. Cheers, Job
Just to mention I have the same problem. It happened when checking out qt-copy and kdebase. There is, however, no need to restart the checkout: just do svn up, fix the error messages by deleting the files mentioned in the messages (or better all the files in that directory) and do svn up again until it succeeds. Still nobody with an idea what the problem could be? Cheers, Job
