Calendar icons

Does anyone know if there is a way (I know, there's not) to change the icons for tasks, like, choose your own little icon per each todo or event or Holiday. Where could I submit a request for this? Sandaili

Better names for Applications

Oh come on. Kcontrol vs Linux - hmmm one is about something like a control panel. Now...someone who is new to the computer, looking for control panel....looking for anything...is in a mass of K's in the menu. Not fun. This isn't about "descriptions" - it's about having NORMAL names. using a K for something that has a C - like Kontact - FINE. I don't care. JuK and amaroK don't play MP3s

I should have clarified; I can play mp3s (was the first thing I ever installed on here, all the codecs). I just can't get juk to play them. Realplayer, Amarok, all the other players work. It's just Juk that when I press play, nothing happens. Sandaili

RE: Turn off (disable) an External Taskbar?

You can right click and select remove, but it still doesn't bring back the app shortcuts to my regular panel. Can anyone help me?

RE: Better names for Applications

I agree. We already know we're using KDE. Let's move away from putting a K in front of things - it really seems weird to me. Here's the reason - yes, they have descriptions. But come on - when you look at a list alphabetically or just to look and see where it should be, since many things have K's in front of them, it is no longer intuitive - it's a nightmare to have to search for some people. True, but....

Yes, but since the decoders are not "free" or open source, they don't include them with basic installations. So you have to go find them on your own. Sandaili

RE: Juk Not Playing

This is the same for me as well. Can someone shed some light on this?
