unable to install kdepim

We have freebsd 6.0 with kde-3.5.7. I couldn't get kdepim to install. pkg_add brought up the error that there are conflicting packages, but when I tried to remove the conflict it said that other packages depended on it and wouldn't remove it. (See below). I also tried using "make install clean" from the port but it got into some endless error loop and wouldn't install. Help appreciated. #pkg_add -r kdepim Fetching ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/…t/kdepim.tbz... Done. Fetching ftp://ftp....

Kmenu "multimedia" window too big

I'm looking for a way to reduce the size of the Kmenu multimedia submenu window. It takes up the whole screen anytime the mouse goes onto it and in order to get back to the main menu I have to click the mouse and start over. I'm using slackware 10.2.0 with kde-3.4.2 Thanks.

konqueror - changing to root?

I was wondering if there's a way to change to "root" in konqueror other than logging out and logging in as root? (Like "su" in Konsole) -

Kpackage X

I recently installed slacktrack-examples using kpackage. (I have slackware 10.2.0). The files seemed to install ok but kpackage has a red X next to all of them which, according to the help file, means that they don't exist. I'm not sure what that means since they all seem to be there. Would appreciate any help with this. Thanks.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I didn't see anything specific for Kpackage. I recently installed slacktrack-examples using kpackage. (I have slackware 10.2.0). permissions for non-linux drive

I'm only able to access my dos/windows drive as root. (I mounted it under "/".) I haven't been able to change permissions or ownership. Is there a way to do this? I'm using slackware 10.2.0 and kde 3.4 Thanks.

menu font size

I've been trying to enlarge the font size of the menu bar but haven't found a way to do it. Also, I get an error message when trying to use the help file. This is the message: INDEXDIR: /home/somae/.kde/share/apps/khelpcenter/index/ FINDCMD: find /opt/kde/share/doc/HTML/en/ -name index.docbook Creating index for 'kde_application_manuals' htdig failed Under "build search index" the status window for "application manuals" says "missing".. Help appreciated. Thanks.
