anda_skoa, hardcoded shold be better and guess what should be better, the location of the code !! :twisted: seb, I havn't tried it later, but it doesn't scale with good resolution and almost certainly not upto 128x128 resolution in kde atleast.. tough I have done it on Gname desktop, but not in browser

sorry , been busy with my exam preps , anda_skoa , to be able to view the icon in 128 x 128 resolution in konqurer , i have to do changes in konqrer as well, is it ????

KDE 3.2: icon problem

well I have encountered the same thing before ... have posted this b4 ... I copied the theme dir to elsewhere... and then replaced the icon giving it the same name.... deleted the orignal copy and copied back the modified one .... It worked for me .try Urself :lol:

sorry my mistake.. i didn't check the linux link.... now,is there s/w to convert *.ico to *.png .... or mac icon files to *.png... will help lot if such s/w alredy exists.. any info / project on conversion betwn such files ... keep postin anda_skoa man U rock..... I still need to know list for all types of ICONS in linux ...

[CLOSED] - Icon issue

hey i had the same prob ... if U know where the icons are a layman's way is ... copy the dir in which icons are, to else where ... then remove older icon and put up newer one with same name .. it worked for me ;-)

one method i tried war by giving the same name to icons as in other themes... like the icon replace mozilla icon be given the same name as in privious theme... and just copy the newly created theme to theme folder.
