kde 4 live boot problem

Hi zombiezeal, It could be several things: a problem with the CD or the drive, a glitch while burning, etc. Another possibility could be that version 1.0.71 is an Alpha, meaning KDE 4.x is still being tested and has some unresolved problems (bugs). KDE's a good desktop but version 4.x has only been out several months. Try downloading a LiveCD with an earlier version of KDE (3.x). I'd like to take advantage of its other capabilities for simple word processing, but the manual and various posts I've read don't seem explain it so I understand what to do. Is there a way to configure KWrite so I can highlight a word or a sentence, click somewhere on the toolbar, keyboard or menu, and make what I selected bold, or underlined or italicized? Or do the same wit...
