Hi, I am running Kubuntu 7.10 with the latest KDE 3 release. I am having trouble getting kpdf to properly open pdf files by default. I think there is a misconfigured kpdf entry somewhere in the system which prevents the "real" kpdf from changing the file associations. Here is the behavoir I observe: -Double-clicking a pdf file in either Konqueror or on the desktop fails with the following message: "KDEInit could not launch '<file path>.pdf'."
