Hi all, yesterday, while I was moving a lot of files from a computer to another, I got annoyed with konqueror's overwrite question. Imagine you have a batch that will last for 30 minutes and you go out for lunch. When you return, you expect that job to be finished, but... a silly overwrite question blocked it all!!! Hi guys, just forgive me if this is not the place where to put whishes and desires for konqueror. Since in KDE 3.4.0 more than 1700 wishes had been fulfilled, I would like to have mine fulfilled, too! I would like to have automatically saved an image just clicking on it while pressing ctrl or any other key. No questions, no pop up, no problems. Hi guys, I have a problem that I think is related to some network problem, but maybe it could be related to kwrite/kate. Well if I open a remote text file via fish:// with kedit it goes ok. A popup window comes with "connecting" and after "initiating protocol" and then kedit loads the file very well. If I open that file with kwrite or kate, the former dialog (Examining File Progress) pops up BUT it stalls on initiating protocol. Hi, I've got my PC near the place I use to study. I would like to change tracks and volume to my favourite music player (amarok is the best, IMHO) with my joystick, like a wire-remote control. Hi!, I seldom use krandtray applet to change screen resolution when I play. The only annoying thing I perceive is that when I restore my old resolution, the former icon position is lost. I have only six icons on the desktop, and I think it's more annoying for people do have many. Any way to save/restore their position? Bye bye, Pietro

Hi, I use Galeon because of its property of saving images and links only with ctrl+click on them, after a little patch I've made to it (only shift mask to ctrl mask change and and let it not to ask for destination dir). So I usually use konqueror to browse the web and I launch galeon only when it is indispensable (what about adding that feature to konqueror? I will kick off gnome from my PC!!!) Hi guys, is there any way to make konqueror "remember" the size (in pixels or %) of the Terminal Emulator embedded pane in konqueror? (Window -> Show terminal emulator) I use mutt and I would like to have ten or more lines available, but when I set the size of the pane, and save the settings (from konsole-embedded menu), on the next run it does not remember anything!!! Hi, I've recently switched to a faster PC (faster than my old P2-400!) and wanted to log in with kdm (instead logging and startx-ing). Everything seems to go ok, but I can NOT do any keyboard input! Let's explain. X starts up, and appears the small window with the users. The cursor blinks, but when I touch a key to write the password, the cursor stops to blink and the app seems to hang! Hi guys, I've some observations on some kde behaviours: 1) Thumbnails. I would like to have them centered both horizontally and vertically. Now they are centered only horizontally, but they are placed on the very bottom, near the filename. 2) Giving personalized icons to directories. When I chose an icon for a dir, it is changed. If I enter in the dir, the small icon placed upper left (plastik window decorations) does NOT update to the icon I've choosen! Bye bye, Pietro
Hi, Every KDE/QT program that I launch, outputs to the standard error this string: kdecore (KIconLoader): WARNING: Icon directory XXX group YYY not valid. in which, XXX is /usr/share/icons/*, and YYY is 12x12 and so on. I've Debian unstable, and in /usr/share/icons there are both kde and gnome icons. How can I correct, or disable, this annoying message? Thanks, Pietro

Hi!, I've noticed that Konqueror has the superpowers of importing galeon xbel bookmarks but it fails miserably because he can not export to xbel bookmarks.
