Yes,also for me Kmail is VERY SLOW ! I do not know why ! In a first time it was enough easy to handle my email box, but now I need more or less 5 minutes to check my pop3 email box while with thunderbird I need less than 5 seconds ! What is wrong with kmail settings ? I leave my messages for 2 days on my email server because I use many different PCs and I want to be updated in each one. I think this is not a strange setting ! Anyway with others email clients all is fast, with Kmail terrible slow...
