I have solved part of the pb by installing kdemultimedia. I now have preview. But it is a stupid preview as i takes the first frame. So for most of the previews, i have a black screen or the logo of the paramount ...

I have downloaded kdetoys to have current weather on my taskbar. I have added the applet on my taskbar. When i configure it, i choose a city. But whatever i choose, i get a message "unknown station". How come ?...

Hi , I downloaded new thems for Amarok (through the Amarok configurator), i have installed them. Once i choose one and apply the new thems, it does not change anything... How come ? Thanks in advance !

Hi, I have lost my video previews i had with gnome when i switched to KDE. The icons were "flim" like and that was cool... Anyone have an idea on how to fix this ? Thanks

Hi I have just switched from gnome to kde, so i am still at the learning phase ... (i am on FC6) My problem is that i have no system sound. I mean that opening or closing a window does not make any sound. Everything looks fine however on the sound configurator : there are sounds associated with those events. I do not have also the KDE starting and closing sounds. My music software or videos work fine and i have sound ... So there must be something i did not configure correclty. Thanks in advance...
I tried to configure my webcam with Kopete, but the window remains black ... But my webcam works fine with Ekiga ! I have a Logitech Quickcam pro 4000 and i am using Kopete 0.12 How come ?. What can i do ? Thaks in advance Chirs
Hi there, I am trying to install the latest Kopete version; but i have the following well known problem when i launch the ./configure : checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.3 and < 4.0) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation! I do not understand why. My Qt version is : Qt: 3.3.6 KDE: 3.5.4-0.3.fc5 Fedora-Core kde-config: 1.0 What shall i do ? (i am a Linux beginner ...)
