I created a new printer in print manager and that is what was needed. Now I can print again. Problem solved!
Ever since I upgraded to KDE 3.4.2 I get this message when I try to print: A print error occurred. Error message received from system: Error while reading filter description for true. Empty command line received. How do I fix this problem? Thanks.
I have looked at it and I don't see anything different than when I had KDE 3.3. What should I be looking for? Why would it change? I was able to print with Gimp. Thanks

I've recently upgraded to KDE 3.4.2. I use Mepis 3.3 I print fine in Open Office and Firefox, but cannot print photos in kuickshow or digikam. I get this error: Error message received from system Error while reading filter description for true Empty command line received is this because I upgraded to KDE 3.4.2 from 3.3? Why would that make a difference? How can I fix this problem? And what is the best program for printing photos? Thank you
