at the risk of revealing myself as a newbie.. how do i unpack bz? someone told me. but i forgot. (theres a lesson here, i think its never try to learn and drink alcohol) and yes, i did try the configuring shortcuts deal. mine by default was set to none. and apperently somehow still is. even though it says it isnt.

alright aside fom my annoyance with yahoo (again, consistantly) ive gotten suse 9.1 professional installed a few hours ago and.. ive got the newest version of kopete out there now. (had some odd issue with suse9) anyways i STILL cannot send messeges with the enter button, regaurdless of configuation, apperently. anyone else have/had this issue? any idea how i can fix it?

PATCH ME!! it wouldnt be so annoying when (yahoo) changes their login IF they had a decent client for linux. or a decent client to begin with, period.

anyone got any idea where i can get the "all work and no play makes jack a dull boy" screensaver for windows? i told a friend id find him one like the one i have in suse. but im having no luck

does anyone else have thhis problem? i configured my shortcuts and they arent working..

you should be able to go to.. "settings" i think and its in configure shortcuts.. its pretty easy from there. on a side note tho mine doesnt do it even tho it says i changed it to "return"

ok.. the problems multiply.. i understand i cannot speak to people who are not on my buddy list.. i dont know why.. but that doesnt matter at the moment. (altho a solution here would help too) but lately people i have added are not showing up as online and thus i cannot talk to them... which has lead to mmore than a few of my xbox friends mad at me.. ok whats going on now? and what can i do about it? also whenever i try to talk in yahoo (yes i have kopete i get the same stupid xml messege cannot...

i am having the same issue.. it worked sometimes but not all the time when i was on 8rc1 but when i downloaded the last update it over-wrote it with an older one, and i got the kopete8 suse rpm. and after much deleting of all the old stuff it worked, yay! i can now offically log into yahoo except no one can talk to me. i get the same xml error these guys are talking about...

yeah yeah.. im stupid, im sure.. but now i know what the problem is, at least.. i i foolishly let the suse auto update replace my new version of kopete with the older 7.3 version.. and ive tried recompiling the newer one. it doesnt seem to be working.. anyone got any ideas?

ok it popped up again (just now) under the section on the top of the menu where the icons u use the most go. and now im having issues with yahoo (its not connecting, yet the icon is colored like im connected) and the icon, which used to be under internet > more programs is still missing on a side note it takes it longer to load now, and its crashed twice

ok.. im a linux newbie (suse 9) and it told me there was a "security update" so i download thhis update, and all is good.. and i closed kopete, and when i went to re-open it some time later i found that all the icons i had made for it in my menu thing were gone, and i did a find files search for kopete and i went to every one of them and i couldnt make it open. what the hell did i do? and how do i fix it??
