an equivalent to "su root" in the gui?

hi everyone i was trying to copy a file to some different location, but KDE keeps saying "access denied", "permission denied" and stuff like that, so i wonder what i can do to bypass that(other than logging in as root), maybe somtehing like su or i dunno... thx in advance deus machinarum
