Kopete 0.8rc1 working perfectly on FreeBSD!

There's so much negativity about these days, so this is just to thank Duncan and the Kopete team for a great job on getting to 0.8rc1. I'm running it on FreeBSD 4.8 after building it from ports (edit /usr/ports/net/kopete/Makefile and set PORTVERSION= 0.8rc1 then make install NO_CHECKSUM=yes after downloading the bz2 file to your distfiles directory) Out of the box, it's running beautifully with AIM, ICQ, MSN and Y! protocols.

Any update?

Just curious - it's been a month since these posts, and my Kopete (0.7.4) has just started doing this over the past few days. I installed it when it first came out and haven't touched the config, so I'm surprised it's only just started happening. This is happening with ICQ, MSN and Y! protocols. Has anybody found out the reason or a solution to the problem?

Konqueror (3.1.4) + FreeBSD 4.8 + Flash 6?

Hi all, With some fiddling (http://www.cliff.biffle.org/freebsd/flash.html) I have managed to get Flash 5 working in Konqueror on FreeBSD, but to date cannot get Flash 6 working under the browser. It does however work fine in Firebird. I've tried adding the libflashplugin.so library path to Konqueror's plugin scan directory list, but nspluginscan fails to pick it up. Any ideas?
