Hello everyone. I am a Linux newbie. I tried to install Mandriva on my machine, but it wouldn't install, so I loaded Red Hat 9 instead. It has KDE 3.1, I believe and I want to upgrade it to the latest 3.5. I've tried to find information that will help me, but when I try to follow what it says, I'm obviously doing something wrong... I also tried to load apt to use the apt installer, but failed there too... so can anyone help me??? Thanks, Mitch
