I'm trying to save my messages from an IMAP account that's soon to be deleted. This thread says they're stored in a particular location (~/.kde/share/apps/kmail), but I find that while there is some info there, none of the messages are actually kept there -- there's only a bunch of text files describing the folders in my IMAP account. Now, I gather IMAP servers keep the mail in ther server itself, so the question is: How do I save copies of my emails from my IMAP account?
I found it blindly looking through my files. It's stored in: /home/[username]/.kde/share/apps/khtml/formcompletions which is a plain text file.
I'm installing a new distro, but will still be using Konqueror. I have a few complicated website forms I sometimes have to fill out with many long fields; the form autocompletion tool has been great! But where is that data stored? In firefox there's a simple text file called signons.txt for my passwords and stuff, but is there a file, for Konquueror, that has all this form data in it? I haven't been able to find it. Anybody know where this file is?
