I should have gone into more detail. I'm doing two machines. "Save settings" saved the size of the konsole on both machines, but it only saves the keyboard settings on one of them, and I still occasionally get a konsole with the wrong keyboard setting, though by the time I've noticed, I forgot how I pulled up that konsole. This is my second thread, so forgive (but correct) any newbie mistakes. Again, relevant data is: KDE 3.1.3 installed on a FreeBSD 4.8-stable box from the ports collection.
