It is configured to be automatically started. Although, I can't tell if it actually started or not...

I am running FreeBSD 5.1 and I know my hardware is supported and I have the proper authorities to resources. If I use a GNOME environment, I get sound working perfectly. If i log off and get back on with KDE, audio doesn't work. Any ideas? Thanks a lot!
