i use open office, but koffice is usefull because he is lighter.
:idea: A little tips for sound cards. You must turn OFF the PNP OS ----->(disabled ) in your motherboard bios. :lol: :lol: . I have a fortissimo2, and a mandrake 9.0.My soudcard was detected; but no sound !!... After one mouth, i found that it was in the bios....just a little option.... Maybe it will help someone.
what kind of antialias did you uused? are you sure yo've entered the line for the antialias in xf86config?
i installed the alsa driver and lib and utils, the problem is the same. i have a motherboard ASUS p4s533 with a sis 645dx chipset. when i start linux, the first line is : unknow bridge assuming transparent :0 Maybe there is no communication with my mb and my sound card?
