I don't feel like this has always been the case, but for me at least (running kubuntu breezy and KDE 3.5) selecting multiple files/items in Konqueror, gwenview, and just about every "icon view" style window doesn't behave correctly. I'm used to using "shift" to select multiple files, as has worked since Windows 3.1 or whatever: click on the first file, shift-click on the last file, and everything in between is selected.
