Well it looks like SuSE doesn't provide 3.1.4 packages yet and I didn't found another source.

Hi Chrisherr,

I have always installed and configured the lastest KDE on Suse with konstruct. I never used the packages before.

Try it out it's very easy to use.

SuSE has actually made the packages available, but not as an update through YasT...don't know why. I had to look around SuSE's FTP-server to find them, so here's the address:

ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_8.2/

They worked great for me.

The reason SuSE never put them into Y.O.U. might be that there are no security relevant new features.

Or even more interesting: SuSE 9.0 ships with KDE 3.1.4 (not 3.2 CVS or something). Why else updating -- unless you have a AMD64...
Expect the worst, it's the least you can do.
