Get id of the active window

How to get to console id or title of the active window on current workspace?

That's not possible with plain DCOP, unfortunately. I think that's already requested on bugs.kde.org, but I couldn't find an entry for that.

I found program wmctrl. It can list windows, but it cannot define what is active.
