Well, as expected, I'm disappointed the forum layout wasn't made more general, I think I made the case for doing so as best I could. and according to your last post on the subject ("Answer to Gnome forum idea") you do understand the problems with topic based forums. but you're the man in the driver's seat & I'm not going to be critical about decisions you have made. Your changes will work ok, the board is not much different than it was before (although I still think it would be better if... :-)

named as first change

First I want to say that this is "no change" it's only a step forward to make changes here! This is not the final structure this is just the first step!

I just wanted to make the frist step ... this topic is anyway searching for the right way! (it was a little clean up and changing names)

Getting started - more an tutorial

I think getting started is more an idea for an tutorial about installing KDE, a bit about Linux, about the KDE community and more but not a board!

two things

What do you think about the next two points:

- Developer Feedback to KDE and Qt Programming
- Renaming Developer to KDE REPORT 3.2 - my project for the big KDE wordl ;)

-> I think we don't need the developer feedback board - maybe just a sticky post about how to send feedback to the KDE developers!

- Desktop & Applications - RENAME or REMOVE?

-> Because so many posts are about this and that - I would like to rename it or to remove it - more the last one...

What do you think?

Yes, I think the developer feedback forum is kind of misleading, because it suggests you can reach developers there.

Maybe we can get some kde-quality members to read it.

first changes done

The first changes are done and the developer board moved to QtForum.org... no need for discussion at the moment.
