[KMAIL] Bad path when opening attachement

Hi all,
after upgrading my KDE to 3.3.1 I've found a problem with opening mail attachements from Kmail. When clicking on attachemet e.g. video file selecting "Open with Kaffeine" it opens Kaffeine but with link to nonexistent file (e.g.: /tmp/kde-user/video.wmv_[N7K8Pa].wmv but the file is located in /tmp/kde-user/kmailSOMETHING/). The same is for images.

Do you know what could be wrong? Is it a bug?

Thanks for any help.

Petr

Yes, that sounds like a bug. Please check carefully at bugs.kde.org if it's already there. If it is then you can vote for it (votes help getting the developers' attention), otherwise report a new bug providing the above info, what distro you're using and where you got your version of KDE 3.3.1 from.

I'm using Gentoo Linux.
There are meny bugs :-/ I have been searching for this and haven't succeeded. But seems to me that if this is the bug there should be someone else who has the same problem not only me.

Did you find a related bug report at bugs.kde.org then (I didn't)?

I was able to repoduce the problem here with an .mpg file. Either it does not always happen or it depends on the file type. The image I tested with worked here although it's saved under /tmp/kde-username/kontact{some_random_string}/, too.
(I'm using kontact instead of kmail separately)

I've been just looking for this bug at bugs.kde.org but without success. Seem to me that it isn't reported. I've reported it as a bug 94336
