can expert do it

im using gentoo kde version 3.3.0.here is my dmesg out put

kppp dosnt response to isapnp modem.ive tried ttyS0 to 3 the result was same unable to response.but in minicom it gives response but when i dail to net it redial after (counter) reaches to 0.jsut tell me wats wrong that kppp doesnt response to isapnp or do i need any thing else for configuring it.your kind response will be helpful for me :) .

isapnp is just a tool for detecting ISA PNP cards.

Which device do you use successfully with minicom?

Can you try with wvdial instead of kppp?

I am afraid I haven't used KPPP yet, so I don't know what might be wrong
