Internet Shortcut in desktop

I'm using Kurumin 3.2 (a Brazilian flavor of Knoppix) and Kde 3.2.3.

I already managed to create shortcuts for programs in desktop.

I'm having problems to create internet shortcuts in desktop.

Does somebody know how to do this???
Thanks a lot.

What's an internet shortcut to you? Could you please explain a little more what you're trying to do, maybe with a little example?

Shouldn't be a problem.

(translating from German names)
Right click on desktop->new->file->"link to location(URL)"

Or drag&drop the URL from Konqueror's address input line to the desktop (grab the icon left of the URL)

cbmbofh.
Sorry if I was not clear enough.
I meant to create an icon in desktop to call a internet url.
I follow the next hint and did create the internet shortcut in my desktop.
Thanks a lot.

I cracked the fireworks too soon.

I did manage to create the shortcut. But, it is calling the wrong browser.

I wish it would call Mozilla Firebird instead of (default) Konqueror.

If anybody knows any hint for changing the default browser in a internet shortcut please give a help
Thanks a lot.

You can either switch the default browser or create a program link instead of the URL link and give the URL as a paramater to an appropriate Firebird command.

Control Center->KDE components->file asociations->text/html

Or right click a HTML file and choose edit file asociation from the context menu.
