PC locks up after moving any Desktop Icon

PC locks up after moving any Desktop Icon

As the subject says my Laptop locks up after moving any desktop Icon around then moving my mouse back over it (although I don't always have to move my mouse over it).

I am running KDE 3.1.2 with RH9 on a Dell Inspiron 8100.

I did have some problems initially installing KDE 3.1.2 but finally worked through all of the dependance issues.

Any suggestions other than "don't move the Icons!"

Hi, quick few questions, whom are you logged in as? Have you got enough disk space in your home directory? Is your virtual memory at a reasonable size comparing to your physical memory? Has root is got enough space? 8)
