[Kopete] Yahoo still fails

I had upgraded to 0.8.4 and it still says my Yahoo password fails. Yes I went to Yahoo.com and logged into my account and my password is correct :lol:

Any news?

same issue with kopete

k i'm a linux noob, and so far i've been on my own. i got kopete to connect to msn and aol but it wont connect to yahoo... says pass is bad but it's the right pass. i've been searching the net for hours now and i can't find any page that can help so please if you can point me in the right direction i'd be very appreciative

I haven't tried this since I don't have the updated version, but you could try removing your existing Yahoo! account from Kopete, shutting Kopete down, restarting it and re-adding your account.

yeah, best way to do it is to remove $HOME/.kde/share/apps/kopete

[KOPETE] I can't connect to Yahoo too...

Hi folks... I'm a newbie using Kopete. I managed to connect to MSN Network, but Yahoo doesn't work... I'm using the latest version (0.8.4) and SUSE 9.1 Personal...

Can anyone help?

Sorry!

I found what was missing... I had to allow traffic on port 5050... Now it's working... Kopete is great!!!!
