Where is the Konqueror plugin directory

I'm trying to install the flash plugin for Konqueror & it gets to the stage where it wants me to put in the plugin directory but i have no idea where it is. I spent about an hour looking for it & i still couldn't find it. Can somebody please tell me where i can find it?

Thanks in advance

Konqueror scans the directories you specify in Settings>>Plugins where you can Add a new directory for it to scan upon startup.

Usually Konqueror finds the Mozilla plugins as well.

Never had any problems so far.

You couldn't have looked too hard. It's right there in the Settings dialogue under plugins no less. You could have installed your Flash plugin anywhere and then just told Konq where to look for it.

The only reason it's easier in Mozilla (if it is easier) is that the installers from Flash integrate a bit better owing to its Netscape ancestry.

It's the other way around Scanner. You simply need to define the path to the flash plugin in Konqueror and nspluginscan will take care of the rest. In fact I find that Konqueror here is superior to Mozilla in respect to helping the user.

I find K more and more usable over the years and Moz almost old-fashioned as a standalone app., although great. But it's 2 different worlds. Ex: Can you use Moz as a file manager?

The matter could depend on how recent a version of KonqR U R using,

Although its strictly personal perference, I think Konqueror scores over Mozilla in some areas. Its lightning fast and starts up quicker (since you are working in KDE) and supports tons of local and web protocols.

In fact, the last one is the reason why I prefer it over Mozilla/Firefox. Saves me the trouble of starting several apps for different protocol access :-)
How come I can never come up with something original as my signature?
