KOffice needs GNOME libs? compiling libwmf-0.2.8.2 glib

Hi!

Compiling KOffice and it needed the ms-word conversion
library libwmf-0.2.8.2, the only problem is it says it needs
gnome glib and other libraries (?)

Is Gnome a requirement of KOffice? How do I get around
this.

Compile libgsf with --without-gnome
