No sound at some softwares

I can listen music via xmms or kmplayer, but can not hear sound using juk or amaroK. The song is playing but no sound. My sound card is ALi driver. I wonder if, may it be cause by not installed arts? Thanks for helps...

I got it.

Solve : I installed artsdriver and enabled the sound system in control center.

Yeah I was gonna say that, it could be your driver may not be configure, O welll all it matter is you got it fixed.
