Gentoo, KDE, Confige error no KDE headers isntalled? help?:D

Hey folks, what's happenin?

Recently, I typed, "emerge kde" and during the merging, I recieved the following error:

------------------------------------------
checking for KDE... configure: error:
in prefix chose, then are no KDE headers installed
so check this and use another prefix

function kde_src_compile line 119, exit code 1
died running ./configure, kde_src_compile
-------------------------------------------

Any ideas as to what might be the solution?

At what point (which package) do you get that error?

I really don't know if it will help, but you could try to emerge kdelibs (with its dependencies) separately before you emerge kde...

Thank you for your reply. I posted this all over the web and you're the only person who even responded. Much appreciated.

It is, however, too late to try. I just started from scratch this morning. Kinda bummed, but hey, it's free so I can't complain about support, eh? :D

Ps, ima buy you a beer.
