What distros work well with KDE?

What Linux distros work well with KDE? I know RedHat simply doesn't, and SuSe definetly does, but what about the others?

I should add that I mean a few things by this:

1) Technically, KDE and its apps work well and are stable.
2) The distro keep themselves up to date with builds of the current versions.
3) The distro's setup takes advantage of KDE features, and sets up menus, file associations, etc to leverage KDE.

KDE works great on my Debian Woody system.

The unofficial packages from kde.org are usually up-to-date.

Not sure what you mean in (3), file associations of KDE are set by KDE's config.
Debian has non-KDE apps arranged into "Debian" submenus inside the approriate KDE menu.

I am a Suse user and have been for a long time after trying lots of other distros and none of them made me as happy as Suse did. Suse is my option. :lol:

I disagree about RH. I use RH 7.1 and KDE, and I am very happy with KDEs performance. Not every user has the same requirements and experiences - as a RH user I will certainly stick with KDE. (I am forced to use an old version of RH as my software has not been tested and validated with the newer releases).

Why do you say that "Red Hat simply doesn't" work well with KDE??

Does KDE work better with any distros??

I'm going to try Gentoo next :lol:

Gentoo has been my favorite so far, after trying mandrake and debian. Of the linux's i've seen the portage system of gentoo is my favorite. Don't get me wrong... apt and rpms are easy too, but with gentoo one command will get you the latest version of kde, compile it with all the optimizations for your architecture, and install it in most of the right places.
the only downside is the compile time. after my initial install of gentoo i needed to get X and kde and all the dependencies for both (qt etc.). the one command (`emerge kde`) took about 15 hours on my 1.5ghrz athlon with dsl.
