no item in taskbar for a program.

Is there a way to not have a taskbar item for a specific program? For example: i'm running xmms with an tray icon plugin. So no i've the plugin i don't want xmms on my taskbar anymore. Does anyone know an solution for this?

I don't know how to do it, but you mean you want it like KsCD?
"Chopsticks require a person to use 64 muscles and 30 articulate movements simultaneously, which also acts in developing brain potential."

Hmm i don't know KsCD. I was just wondering of there is an configuration panel or something where i can disable the taskbar item for a program.

This doesn't work for xmms, apparently because xmms feels the need to spawn many processes, and one of the children is the process associated with X instead of the main process. if anyone knows an alternative solution i'm all ears.
