Hello,
I have to admit I'm not a KDE user, as I prefer an old fashioned window manager over a desktop environment, but I do like the KDE applications. KOffice in particular is getting very good for lightweight word processing.
The only problem I have is that I can't work out how to change the key bindings from their Windows-friendly defaults! I've looked at the changable settings in both Kword and KControl, but neither of them offers to change the bindings I'm interested in, which leads me to wonder if it's possible.
The type of binding I want to change is things like making ctrl-D delete, ctrl-A beginning of line, ctrl-E end of line etc.. (Traditional Unix bindings)
Is this possible?
Thanks,
Andy
