Ok, here is a problem I have had since I upgraded to kde 3.1.1 on debian (woody).
Every time kdm should start (on system start/reboot) it just blinks a couple of times and then fail.
If I then manually clean everything in /tmp and manually start kdm it works fine.
The same thing applies to kde, that is, if I try to start xdm (which works great) and then kde through
it then kde keeps crashing. I always have to clean the /tmp.
Any ideas??
My /var/log/kdm.log shows this:
