I see a whole bunch of cool screenshots out there and sometimes find myself becoming envious.

So I spend some time thinking of and figuring out a rarely-if-ever seen look and layout. I have finally come up with this:

This is my primary system, which runs Debian Lenny (with a twist of Etch and Sid in aptitude).
My desktop environment is KDE 3.5.6.
I have a main panel with 20 desktops total, so I will never worry about screen real estate.
The shading color isn't the images, it's KDE's shade function.
Top 6 used programs directly on the panel (the 5 top used are programs that failed to start automatically).
The only analog clock in the house is on the main panel.
Extended window management buttons (yes, i do use them).
And finally a tray panel of sorts on the lower right.

*(what's unseen is a third panel on the bottom that is just a 'run' entry box)

Well, what do you die-hard KDE enthusiasts think? Is my UI among the cooler ones? Could you envision mimicking part or all of it?

(yes i'm open to criticism and flaming too)

RE: My GUI

ah, so far everyone who has voted thinks my UI is awesome; COOL!
