Flash 9 not working on Konqueror

Hello,

I cannot view on Konqueror any sites that contain Flash animations - a grey box is displayed in the place the animation should be:

I just checked, and nspluginviewer is installed and running:

Source code

1
2
$ ps aux | grep nsplugin
1000 16651 0.0 3.9 85372 19640 ? Sl 13:16 0:00 /usr/bin/nspluginviewer -dcopid nspluginviewer-16590

The versions of the programs I'm using are 3.5.8 for Konqueror, and 9.0 r64 for Adobe Flash.

How can I make it work?

Thanks in advance.

hey. Thanks much but I'm a novice and have no idea how to extract or where to put the extracted information. Nor do I understand the 9r48 reference or how to install or integrate it into the program.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I've had the same problem and downgraded to netscape-flash-9.0.48.0-r1

Now the animation works but with no sound...

Any ideas? I'm using gentoo and the nspluginwrapper is masked, so I don't have that installed. Do I need it?
