[KOPETE] AIM access dead

[KOPETE] AIM access dead

I have my system set up to access Gtalk and AIM, but recently, Kopete has been churning and churning and then finally giving up. Any ideas why? The same thing is happening to Pidgin when I try it.

If it's happening in two programs, that means there's a problem with your connection! Check your router/firewall to make sure they're not.... errmm, esploding?

As far as I can tell, nothing is wrong with my router, but I would not be sure how to check. I do not really want to unplug it and plug it back in, as we use Vonage. Also, I have a Belkin F5D7230-4 router, and Comcast internet access.
It has worked in the past, but now it seems not to.
