Cannot change column width in Dolphin file manager?

Hello,

I'm using Kubuntu 6.10 and tried the new Dolphin file manager.
A big problem (to me a no-go-problem) ist that I cannot change the column widht in detail view. Is it a bug or what's the trick?
My filenames are larger than 8.3 characters and I'm always using the split-view.

dolphin is pretty new and immature, so i guess that it has not been implemented yet.
