Kmail and saving multiple attachments

I have been using Thunderbird since version 0.9. and am using version 2.0 at the moment. I was reading an article about Kmail and was wondering if Kmail has the same capabilities as TB when it comes to saving multiple attachments in multiple emails?

At the moment, using an extension with Thunderbird, I can save attachments in up to several hundred emails into a directory of my choosing. I was wondering if Kmail had a similar capability.

Thanks.

yes you can:
select all mails containing an attachement
right click on one mail and select [save attachements as]

tried this with 3 mails for you, and it worked.

If I choose "Save Attachments as.." will I need to click to confirm every attachment saved or is it just choose the directory where the attachments are to be saved then click ok and all of the attachments will be saved without any more "interference" from me?

it happens without any interaction.
I had to check the directory to see if it worked :)

if the directory contains files with the same name, then you would get the default kde dialog asking what to do.

Thanks. I'll give it a try and see how it goes. :)
