kde help not working!

i'm new to kde and sometimes it might be useful, to be able to search in the help files. but:

INDEXDIR: /home/fenk/.kde3.5/share/apps/khelpcenter/index/
FINDCMD: find /usr/kde/3.5/share/doc/HTML/en/ -name index.docbook
Creating index for 'kde_application_manuals'
htdig failed

it doesn't work. where is the configuration mistake??

RE: kde help not working!

Is the htdig command on your system?

i had no htdig. (a friend of mine can use the help search and also has no htdig...)

so i emerged it:

the emerge exits with:

"
* vhosts USE flag not set - auto-installing using webapp-config
* This is an installation
* htdig-3.1.6-r7 is not installed - using install mode
* Running //usr/sbin/webapp-config -I -h localhost -u root -d /htdig htdig 3.1.6-r7
* Fatal error: Your configuration file sets the server type "Apache"
* Fatal error: but the corresponding package does not seem to be installed!
* Fatal error: Please "emerge >=net-www/apache-1.3" or correct your settings.
* Fatal error(s) - aborting

* Running //usr/sbin/webapp-cleaner -p -C htdig
* Unused versions of htdig detected.
* To clean, run the following command:
* emerge -Cav =htdig-3.1.6-r7
"

after this happened, creating the search index says:

"Creating index for 'kde_application_manuals'
Warning: unknown locale!

New server: home, 80
Unknown host: home
0:0:0:file://home/fenk/.kde3.5/share/apps/khelpcenter/index/kde_application_manuals.tmp/index.html: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- size = 22752
htdig: Run complete
htdig: 1 server seen:
htdig: home:80 1 document
htmerge: Document database has no URLs. Check your config file and try running htdig again.

htmerge failed"

what now? ;)

i found out that maybe this index is not what i'm searching for, or is it needed, when i want to search through the kde-helpfiles?
