Hi,

I'm sorry for not seeing the wood for the trees. Please help me anyway. I absolutely cannot find out why konqi (version: 3.5.5) doesn't display the favicon on my website. It works fine on other webpages (like this forum). It's not the image itself, bc I tested with the KDE website's icon too. Here's a sample page not working:

For some reason firefox is happy with it, but konqi isn't. Now what reason is that? Thanks for any ideas!

That only makes it weirder. Are you using the same version of konqueror?

Ok, this behaves like an overzealous cache problem (konqi misses favicon updates). Only that the "empty cache" button doesn't help. Appears quite bizarre to me.
