KOrganizer reminders fail

I am running the KOrgainzer 3.5.3 calendar program under Fedora Core 5. Periodically the program stops popping up reminders when it is scheduled to do so for events. When I quit the program and restart it, I receive all the reminders that it did not send me and then it works properly for a while. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this problem? Thanks.

RE: KOrganizer reminders fail

When you happen to detect that the reminders are not popping up anymore, could you check if the korgac process is still running (look with 'top' for example).

OK, will do. Right now ps shows the process as

00:00:04 korgac --miniicon korganizer

RE: KOrganizer reminders fail

Ah...when I reboot and KOrganizer starts as part of a saved session the korgac process does not start. Perhaps that is the problem. When I kill KOrganizer and restart it then korgac runs. I guess I just have to start it manually for now.

Could you submit a bug report for that (if it doesn't exist already) on http://bugs.kde.org ? Thanks in advance.
