[KOPETE] Does not connect to hotmail

Hi, I tried several times to connect to my hotmail account but, kopete still saying "the password is wrong".

My login and password in hotmail are fine if I connect thru MSN messanger in Windows.

I am using KOPETE 0.8.4 with Mandrake Linux 10.1

I hope any one can halp me.

you need to upgrade to kopete version 0.10 or later. MS has changed the protocol

You have an old version of Kopete. Newer versions (at least 0.10) work with MSN.

[KOPETE] Does not connect to hotmail (msn)

I have the same problem. But I'm using kopete 0.11.1 (kde 3.5.2) on gentoo. Everything was working quite nice until yesterday (5/18) msn on kopete stopped working all of a sudden. Now I cannot connect and I got this wrong password message. My password is correct since I can connect using giam/ amsn on the same machine, and still connect using another kopete 0.11.1 on kubuntu. Could not understand what the problem is, I updated kopete to 0.12 beta but same thing. Anyone has any ideas?
