[kopete] Problems with ICQ contacts

After login the first time with kopete to the icq network my conatcs are importet as well as the contact groups. But most of my contacs have the symbol for 'authetifcation needed' - under trillian or miranda at windows all my contacs are in my list and I can see their status. So why kopete handle the contacs that way - is there any possibility to get "normal" access to my contacs without requrest a activation from them?

thx

RE: [kopete] Problems with ICQ contacts

Miranda and Trillian both handle the ICQ contact list differently than Kopete does (IMHO, it's wrong, but whatever). Therefore, we added a setting to Kopete that allows it to ignore the fact that contacts on your list require authorization (at least with ICQ). Check the Privacy tab of your ICQ account settings.

You need at least version 0.11 of Kopete, if I remember correctly. The name of the setting should be 'Respect the authorization status of other contacts' or something similar.
