(I tried to look up if someone else had this problem too, but I couldn't find a post, so I started new one.. if found, link me up with the existing one)

I'm using Kopete 0.10.4 (KDE 3.4.3) in (K)Ubuntu 5.10 and I've been having this problem with the Kopete settings.

When I go to Options -> Appearance -> Colors & Fonts, there's this section called Formatting Overrides:
Do not show user specified background color
Do not show user specified foreground color
Do not show user specified rich text

But if I set those on, it still shows all the formattings in MSN chats. I'm not sure about AIM or Yahoo IM, but I only got few friends in MSN who uses own formatting for texts. It's really annoying and believe me, I have asked them to turn it off, but I suppose it's just too much to ask.

But seriously, is this some MSN feature that you can't disable the custom formatting or is it a bug or something? I tried with different styles too, but obviously the text formatting is beyond the style settings, so own style won't help.

Anyone else having this problem or does someone know the solution? I really prefer plain text with no formatting..
