problem in Kopete

special character appear when i send messages recieving is ok in kopete

eg for sending welcome it sends W3|c0M3 how to rectify this problem

This is actually a "feature" :D you may have accidentally turned on.

To disable it in Kopete, choose from the menu "Settings > Configure Plugins...". Click on "Text Effect" and select the "Effects" tab at the top. "L4m3r t4lk" is probably checked; uncheck it.
