sudo in KDE 3.4.2 not working...

I probably did upgrade X as well, I can continue my quest for a proper answer in those forums -- as I understood, and had worked previously, a "sudo" command should take with it the XAuthority, thus I shouldn't need to do an "xhost" command. Am I wrong with that?

wallet without password

Okay, I did figure it out (simply change the password to blank and it no longer asks for a password -- at least smb4k doesn't). I think it would be good if each application would request passwords from a different wallet, since some of my passwords are not very sensitive, whereas others might be... ...though I don't see the problem with a empty password. The user's files are in theory protected and if you want extra security you could use an encrypted partition.

Is there anyway to get the wallet working without requiring a password. This is really annoying as applications are integrating with wallet I am always being asked for password.

sudo in KDE 3.4.2 not working...

Previous to KDE 3.3 one would simply be able to do a sudo command to run another X app as a different user under KDE. Since I've installed 3.4.2 the other application does not have the right to access the display. I'm guessing this have something to do with the upgrade to the complete new KDE package, but perhaps not. Furthermore, doing a "xhost +localhost" does not solve the problem, I am required to do a "xhost +" before it works. This is of course a major inconvenience to running applications...

desktop icons keep moving, don't maintain position

Two of my icons keep moving everytime I restart the system (KDE 3.3.2). Searching the internet I've been unable to find a solution (there are no hidden .desktop files, there are no auto-arrange settings enable, they are not dynamic icons being moved, there is no SuSe icon watcher). There is nothing special about the two icons: I have two pairs of icons, two thunderbird icons, and two openoffice icons, one of each pair gets moved! It isn't even the rightmost one from each pair being moved, one is...
